Reservations at Curú Wildlife Refuge are made through Adelina S.A. (Refugio Curú). By making a reservation, you agree to the terms below.
Reservations
Adelina S.A. (Refugio Curú) requires your credit card information to hold and guarantee the reservation of the cabin you choose. If the cabin is not available, your information is immediately disregarded and deleted from the system.
Your email address is used only to notify you about your reservation and to send the electronic invoice.
The total amount of the reservation is charged at the time of booking. If there is any problem with the credit card, we will inform you and request another credit card in order to process the charge and keep your reservation confirmed. If this is not possible for lack of a guarantee, your reservation will be cancelled automatically.
The reservation process depends on a reliable, continuous connection between the online booking system and the office, which is beyond the control of Adelina S.A. There is a remote possibility of an erroneous automatic confirmation. Should this occur, you will be officially informed that the reservation is cancelled for that reason, and it will be voided and removed from the system.
Prices
Prices may change without prior notice.
Per-person cabin rates, with a minimum of two people, include taxes and admission; they do not include meals. Children under 12 pay half price.
Check-In, Checkout & Day Visits
Cabin check-in is at 2:00 PM. Cabin checkout is at 12:00 noon.
Day visitors are limited to the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, by which time they must leave the refuge.
Refuge Rules
Pets are not allowed; this is a wildlife refuge.
In accordance with Costa Rican Law No. 9028, smoking is prohibited in public places, including the cabins.
Payment Methods
Payment is made at the time of booking, either by credit card at the office or by Visa/Mastercard on the website. Cash is not accepted.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up on the day of the reservation, there is no refund. If you arrive after the reservation date or leave before the end of the reservation, there is no refund.
- If you cancel your reservation 15 days before arrival, there is no refund.
- If you cancel 30 days before arrival, 50% of the total is refunded.
Any other cancellation case is subject to review by the office.
All cancellations or modifications must be made by email. Modifications are treated as cancellations and are subject to cabin availability.

Groups larger than 10 people must contact the office at +506 6209 3846.
For day admission to the refuge between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, the guide and driver receive complimentary admission.
Inability to Provide the Service
Refugio Curú is released from its obligations in the event of fire, flood, strike, an order from the authorities, bad weather, or any other circumstance reasonably beyond its control.
